Here at Sweet Freedom, we know that getting off of sugar is not just about focusing on what you put in your body but also focusing on what you’re doing with your mind.

Exploring your creativity and how it manifests in your life is paramount to finding Sweet Freedom in your life.

You may be thinking, “I can’t even draw a circle, I can’t tap into any creativity”. And we can relate, you don’t have to be artistically inclined to exercise your creativity.

What are you passionate about? What activity really lights you up inside and gets you excited to learn. It could be cooking, solving puzzles, fixing cars, woodworking, painting, playing with computers.

You don’t need to have an easel in front of you with paintbrush in hand to be creative. Finding out what you love to be creative with is one of the absolute best things you can do for your health.

When you’re creating, you’re learning about yourself and the way you connect to the world. The process allows you to drift into a sort of flow state where you’re not worrying about the miscellaneous issues occuring in your life.

This is majorly helpful when it comes to your health because it is often in those times when you are most susceptible to sugar binges. Feeling insecure and anxious usually leads us to find comfort in food.

By building your confidence and skills in the particular area of your life that means the most to you, you reduce the likelihood of those feelings getting the best of you.

So ask yourself today, “What lights me up and sparks my creativity?” When that answer comes to you, you’ve found one of the most important tools of your lifetime to take control of your health journey.

If you’re not sure of that answer, that’s okay too! It just means that you have the opportunity to go out and find whatever it is that makes you feel alive.

If you want some guidance in this journey, we’re here to help! The Sweet Freedom process stands apart from any other program because we assess sugar addiction from all angles.

One of the most important facets of our program is that we encourage you to explore and hone in on your creativity and also share those creative processes with our extremely supportive community.
